This individual assists with audio editing, production, mixing, and live and virtual broadcasting. The AOA may also assist other departments within the scope of this job description and continuously maintain organizational standards for quality and timely delivery.What you'll be doing:


  • Assist Engineering with live and recorded TV & Radio audio operations and completes independent tasks as assigned including, but not limited to:



  • virtual & live events

  • live audio production

  • audio production

  • audio mixing

  • audio editing

  • Assist with recording audio for underwriting spots as requested by Corporate Support

  • Carefully, skillfully, and sometimes simultaneously, utilize a variety of specialty equipment (i.e., cameras, audio and streaming equipment, DAW's) troubleshoot, diagnose, and remedy efficiently; escalate equipment in disrepair to Engineering as necessary

  • Perform audio and equipment testing as necessary and assigned

  • Ensure compliance with BTPM audio technical standards and deadlines

  • Comply with all BTPM's policies, procedures and values: display professional acumen and lead by example

  • Perform other duties as assigned by a member of management

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of Associate degree (or equivalent coursework) or Certificate in audio recording/production/mixing/editing, sound reinforcement or related field

  • Minimum of six (6) months of related experience to include computer-based virtual audio-video production and streaming (internship experience acceptable)

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MAC and PC applications

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, audio editing software and other cloud-based virtual platforms

  • Familiar with job-specific equipment and its functionality: microphones, digital audio workstations (DAW's) and hardware (cables, mic stands, etc.)

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams

Our Production Assistants may be at level I, II or III and the starting pay will be based on education, experience and interview.
