We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager, Leisure to join our team remotely. As a key member of our Amex GBT Ovation Network, you will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and delivering world-class experiences for our Independent Agents and suppliers. About Amex GBT and the Ovation Network

Amex GBT is a leading travel management company that provides innovative solutions and exceptional service to its clients. Our Ovation Network is a unique platform that connects Independent Agents with suppliers and provides them with the resources and support they need to succeed. As a Senior Manager, Leisure, you will play a critical role in growing and developing the Ovation Network, building strong relationships with suppliers and Independent Agents, and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leisure suppliers and Independent Agents to grow and strengthen the Ovation Network, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Manage existing relationships, build strong partnerships, and cultivate new ones to expand our network and drive growth.
  • Identify new technologies, services, and solutions that optimize the Ovation Network, ensuring we provide a world-class experience to our partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for west coast supplier queries, ensuring their needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
  • Coordinate with Independent Agents, addressing challenges, questions, and providing support to ensure a flawless experience.
  • Assist with content and areas of opportunity for the Independent Agent Portal, keeping IAs informed of valuable resources and the latest information.
  • Liaise between Independent Agents and various business units, establishing clear lines of communication and collaboration.
  • Foster positive relationships with highly skilled professionals, strengthening partnerships and enhancing offerings.
  • Represent and attend key supplier meetings, trade shows, and industry events to showcase our company and build our reputation.
  • Establish a community of Independent Agents who excel in engaging with others, promoting collaboration, and sharing effective strategies within our network.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leisure travel experience with a proven ability to deliver connected customer experiences, positive relationships, and communications.
  • Travel/Hospitality experience is required.
  • Strong partnership management and supplier relation skills.
  • Forward-thinking approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans with exceptional execution.
  • Excellent understanding of data and analytics and how this is used to power our IA and partner relationships.
  • Strong senior management skills and the ability to navigate matrix organizations and influence at every level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Global experience and working with remote teams and time zones.
  • Consistent record of delivering results in a highly commercial environment.
  • Candidates based in the Los Angeles Metro area are strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
