Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Michigan
About the position
Responsibilities
• Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
• Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
• Complete other assignments and projects as needed
• Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department
Requirements
• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of employment without restrictions
• 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Flexibility to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday
• Availability to work a permanent weekend shift to meet business needs
Nice-to-haves
• Specialty pharmacy experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
