Senior Backend Software Engineer, Airbnb for Real Estate

About the position Responsibilities • Design, build and launch APIs and integrations with our internal and external partners • Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Product, Program, Design and Engineers to deliver high quality products • Provide input in team roadmap and technical direction • Mentor team members who have less experience Requirements • BS or MS in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of relevant hands-on software development experience • Experience working with one or more backend server languages (Java, Kotlin preferred), and expertise in popular storage systems such as relational databases, noSQL and caching • Strong coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications • Experience architecting, building, and maintaining highly available services in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) • Familiarity with patterns, libraries and frameworks for building and testing services, and service-to-service communication • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within and across teams and functions at Airbnb Benefits • Base pay range of $191,000 - $223,000 USD • Bonus eligibility • Equity • Benefits • Employee Travel Credits Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
