Head of APAC Marketing - Enterprise and Public Sector

About the position Responsibilities • The primary marketing liaison with sales vice presidents and managing directors across the APAC region. • Responsible for strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all field marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) programs to drive awareness and demand generation across all sales segments and key verticals. • Report quarterly on campaign contribution, effectiveness and ROI. • Collaborate with sales leaders and their regional teams to develop and implement campaigns and programs aimed at building sales funnel and winning business. • Work closely with the shared services team in EMEA and leverage content and campaigns as relevant for APAC's focus. • Develop a pipeline of reference and case studies across APAC. • Leverage US and EMEA produced content as relevant and create specific APAC content particularly for the Federal Government in Australia. • Ensure the two English APAC web domains and the Japanese web domain have relevant and fresh content to use in awareness, outreach and engagement campaigns. • Manage key external marketing agencies and develop strong relationships built on trust. • Manage discretionary and ABM budgets as well relevant agency retainers. • Ensure legal compliance processes are followed by all team members, with privacy, copy, event nomination and opt-in/spam rules are adhered to. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Eight or more years of experience in a B2B Marketing function in a multinational technology company. • Eight or more year leading a regional APAC marketing team. • Broad marketing expertise, preferably in a field-facing or strategic marketing role. • In-depth knowledge of international markets, emerging global technology trends, and issues in the Enterprise (pan APAC) and Public Sector (Australia only) segments. • Talent for crafting customer-focused value propositions for vertical markets like Banking & Finance, Manufacturing, Health & Pharmaceutical and the Public Sector. • Solid understanding of current digital/online/offline marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices. Nice-to-haves • MBA or Masters Degree. • One or more relevant Marketing Certification or training. • Leadership skills, ideally with experience leading a virtual/international team. • Experience coaching and developing teams to perform at their best as they strive to meet objectives, and have some fun along the way. • Ability to create and implement strategic plans. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral, and written communication skills; track record of building relationships and credibility with leaders across the organization. • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
