Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. • Utilize various instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and needs. • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. • Collaborate with colleagues to design and enhance curriculum development initiatives. • Maintain organized records of student performance and communicate progress with parents or guardians. • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices. Skills • Strong understanding of linguistics and its application in teaching. • Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson planning and classroom activities effectively. • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual Style for academic writing standards is preferred. • Experience with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus. • Proficient in curriculum development tailored to meet diverse student needs. • Prior experience working with students in an educational setting is essential. • Strong research skills to incorporate evidence-based practices into lesson planning. • Knowledge of instructional design principles to create effective learning experiences.
