Accountant/Book Keeper/CPA
Element is seeking a detail-driven, experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our finance and operations team. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys keeping the books clean and contributing to the financial health of a growing, engineering-focused company.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile financial records using Xero
Create, issue, and track purchase orders and invoices
Manage Xero Projects for job tracking and reporting
Handle payroll processing and related compliance
Coordinate accounts payable and receivable
Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting
Support tax preparation in collaboration with external accountants
Contribute to strategic business planning and financial operations support
✅ Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or small business accounting
Strong proficiency with Xero (required)
Familiarity with payroll systems and purchase/invoice workflows
Highly organized and able to work independently
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Bonus: CPA with Georgia licensure
