Data/BI Analyst

About the position Responsibilities • Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights. • Expertise in Power BI, SQL and/or Snowflake, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). • Ability to create and manage data models, including relationships, hierarchies, and calculated columns. • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources. • Skills in designing and developing interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address business challenges. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data findings clearly to stakeholders. • Understanding of business operations and the ability to translate data insights into business strategies. Requirements • Minimum of 4+ years using PowerBI or Tableau. • Experience with R or Python programming is a huge plus. • Experience in Data Collection and Preparation: Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources to ensure it's ready for analysis. • Experience in Report and Dashboard Development: Designing and creating interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. • Experience in Data Modeling: Developing and maintaining complex data models to support business analysis. • Experience in Performance Optimization: Optimizing the performance of reports and dashboards by improving data queries and model efficiency. • Experience in Data Analysis: Performing advanced data analysis using DAX functions to create calculated measures and solve business problems. • Experience in Collaboration: Working closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and refine requirements for reports and dashboards. • Experience in Data Governance: Implementing data governance practices, including data access controls and ensuring data quality and integrity. • Experience in Documentation: Maintaining documentation for reports, data sources, and data transformation processes.
