Mental Health Therapist - Remote

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. • Provide clinical counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions. • Offer specialized support in areas such as addiction counseling, PTSD care, and behavioral health. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. • Stay informed about advancements in psychopharmacology and integrate this knowledge into treatment as appropriate. • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge. Skills • Proficiency in addiction counseling and experience working with inpatient populations. • Strong background in clinical counseling techniques and methodologies. • Knowledge of PTSD care strategies and effective interventions. • Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is a plus. • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments effectively. • Experience in behavioral health settings, particularly within a clinic environment. • Understanding of psychopharmacology as it relates to mental health treatment. • Experience working with children is highly desirable.
