Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining on-time Accounts Payable status for our North American suppliers. This role involves managing supplier statements, reconciling accounts payable data, and resolving discrepancies through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve outstanding invoices to ensure on-time payments and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Investigate and resolve root causes of invoice gaps, implementing short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Respond to requests from internal teams via Outlook, workflows, and SharePoint financial tickets.
  • Follow up on open issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Utilize established escalation paths when necessary.
  • Verify data accuracy and ensure correct input.
  • Respond to daily emails and Teams chats.
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal and external suppliers.
  • Serve as a trusted backup for team members.
  • Act as an effective liaison between cross-functional teams.
  • Adhere to standard work, including documentation protocols and policies.
  • Utilize multiple data sources and tools.
  • Share lessons learned with the team to maintain process consistency.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of drug test.
  • Successful completion of national background check.
  • Successful completion of educational verification check.
  • Ability to interview ASAP.
  • Ability to start work within 2 weeks of job offer acceptance.
