Job Responsibilities:

• Architect and Develop Innovative Features: Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of new and engaging features for the Apple Wellbeing application and related iOS experiences.
• Prototyping and User-Centric Design: Create and iterate on novel prototypes to effectively communicate feature concepts and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with designers, product managers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure cohesive product development.
• Code Quality and Reviews: Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Internal Tool Development: Build and maintain internal tools and frameworks to streamline the software development process and enhance team efficiency.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Staying Current with Technology: Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the iOS ecosystem to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Data Integration and API Management: Work with complex data databases and web APIs to deliver rich and personalized wellbeing experiences.
• Clinical Concepts and Health Data Integration: Collaborate with clinical experts to translate medical concepts and health data into intuitive and user-friendly iOS features.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven iOS Development Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing robust and scalable iOS applications using both Objective-C and Swift.
• Deep Understanding of Apple's Ecosystem: Extensive knowledge of Apple's development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong Software Architecture Skills: Demonstrated ability to design and implement well-structured and maintainable software architectures.
• Experience with Databases and APIs: Proven experience working with relational databases and integrating with web APIs.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze complex problems, develop practical solutions, and translate user needs into technical specifications.
• Passion for Wellbeing and Health Technology: Genuine interest in the intersection of technology and wellbeing, with a desire to create impactful user experiences.
