We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client General Manager to support our prestigious clients in the Media and Entertainment Industry, including Production, News, Sports, Music, and Theatricals. As a key member of our team, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients' strategic needs, driving client and traveler satisfaction, and delivering innovative solutions to meet their unique travel requirements.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with a high-performing team in a collaborative environment, identifying and delivering new opportunities, promoting GBT's capabilities, and retaining and growing our most important clients. Your expertise and passion for the Media and Entertainment Industry will enable you to provide guidance, develop strategic account plans, and build strong relationships with key business constituents.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of client strategic objectives, key drivers of success, organizational culture, and business objectives
  • Provide guidance to customers in assessing goals and strategies to optimize performance across their program
  • Identify unique travel needs and develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity and improve traveler experience
  • Establish partnerships with key business constituents and build a web of influence at key levels within the account
  • Understand and support the dynamic needs of entertainment travel, trends, and evolving requirements
  • Complete strategic account plans, create customer value, and exceed customer expectations
  • Lead the improvement of the American Express Global Business Travel value proposition through consultation, technology road mapping, and optimizing online servicing solutions

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in global account/client management or project management experience
  • Experience and knowledge of Media and Entertainment Travel
  • Proven ability to develop and implement growth strategies, build action plans, and set goals
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions addressing the outstanding needs of entertainment travel
  • Strong negotiation skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills
  • Sophisticated range of communication and presentation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and business acumen required
  • Advanced software skills (MS Office) and travel operations knowledge required
