Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineer Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Engineering leadership to determine staffing levels and lead interview teams to fill open positions
  • Evaluate the CE team's go-to-market readiness and build plans to ensure the team is prepared to support annualized business objectives
  • Work with the Google Workspace Outreach team to identify, qualify, and target business opportunities
  • Participate in key accounts as executive support and establish relationships across client organizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues affecting customer satisfaction

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience as a technical sales engineer lead in a SaaS or cloud environment, or a customer-facing role
  • Experience driving Client Design and managing design teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Graduate degree in Software Engineering
  • Experience serving in a pre-sales, field engineering leadership, or customer-facing field engineer role
  • Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related technical concepts
  • Ability to work across various time zones
