Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver staff development programs to address clinical training needs, including program objectives, learning outcomes, curriculum, and educational activities
  • Conduct needs analyses, develop and administer surveys, and coordinate focus groups to evaluate the effectiveness of staff development programs
  • Lead, facilitate, and coordinate the development and administration of courses and programs, ensuring curricula align with organizational missions, values, and goals
  • Provide educational consultation to facilities, task forces, and committees, serving as a technical advisor to staff engaged in projects related to policy, procedure, and program development
  • Administer basic and advanced competency nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, and Patient Bill of Rights

Requirements:

  • Current, valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time professional registered nursing experience, including 2 years of experience in an assigned hospital specialty area
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Desired: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and experience developing, administering, and evaluating clinical education programs
