Role Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Data Analyst to join our innovative Data team. As a key player, you'll have the opportunity to drive business growth by applying data-driven insights and analytics to tackle complex problems. Collaborate with our dynamic team of analytical professionals to design and implement cutting-edge customer engagement solutions that deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative approaches to provide customers with actionable data insights
  • Design and build technical solutions to meet customer reporting requirements
  • Balance customer expectations with project delivery and specifications
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to identify areas for improvement and optimize reports and dashboards
  • Analyze data to uncover insights and recommendations for customers
  • Design and develop data pipelines and Power BI dashboarding solutions
  • Mentor developers on technical solutions and escalated matters
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Power Platform and Power BI space
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including product owners, product managers, UX designers, and IT
  • Prepare high-quality technical documentation

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, data warehouse modeling, and business intelligence dashboard development
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Microsoft SSMS and SSDT, and Databricks
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop high-quality documentation and provide user guidance and assistance
  • Strong track record of building relationships with stakeholders and peers
  • Knowledge of Maximo/P6 and experience in the nuclear industry (an asset)
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
