Remote Account Manager - Walgreens Clinical Trials

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join our Walgreens Clinical Trials team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities to expand our clinical trials business.
Job Summary:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, developing and executing strategic account plans, and identifying new business opportunities to drive growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the clinical trials industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing client relationships to drive business growth and expansion
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify new business opportunities and expand our clinical trials business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer service
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including decentralized clinical trials, real-world evidence, and health economics and outcomes research
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at client organizations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including new technologies and innovations in clinical trials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in direct or indirect (such as clinical trials, RWE, life sciences) client or account management
- Scientific, sales, or marketing background with a focus on the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and driving business growth
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of clinical trials, decentralized trials, and real-world evidence trends and developments
- Experience with sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or MBA
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, or cross-functional team leadership experience
