Job Overview

We're seeking an ambitious and strategic Remote Supply Chain Manager to join our team, playing a vital role in shaping the future of American manufacturing. As a remote leader, you will oversee the timely arrival and optimal condition of all necessary parts and equipment, ensuring seamless operations across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and optimize warehouse activities, ensuring a smooth flow of components and equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies, predicting needs, overseeing stock levels, and maintaining organization.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to achieve best pricing and punctual deliveries.
  • Utilize advanced software tools to monitor inventory and refine operational processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer service, to synchronize efforts and drive efficiency.
  • Design and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or materials management.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in software such as ERP systems, CMMS, or inventory management tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Workspace.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and customs regulations is a plus.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen is beneficial.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
