Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to dedicated clients in their homes, tailored to their unique needs and preferences
- Assist with executing comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans to ensure seamless care
- Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care activities
- Provide personal companionship and ongoing social and emotional support to foster meaningful relationships
- Ensure order, safety, and client enjoyment at all times, adapting to changing needs and circumstances
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed, promoting independence and mobility
- Handle administrative functions, such as documentation and reporting changes in clients' conditions, to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities
- Valid Basic Life Support Training (CPR) and TB screening/PPD chest X-ray to ensure client safety
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation to facilitate client care
- Empathy, compassion, and kindness, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care
- Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in various situations, with a focus on client well-being
- Reliability, dependability, and punctuality, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Basic computer skills and technical savviness, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to pass a background check and provide references
