Part Time QuickBooks Bookkeeper and Business Management Assistant (US Tax Expertise Required)
I am an entrepreneur with multiple businesses including 5 corporations in digital marketing, short term rentals, and a medical spa. I recently launched a new business management firm called RZAK that will specialize in managing finances and operations for high net worth individuals, artists, and athletes.
I am looking for a part time highly skilled bookkeeper with deep QuickBooks experience (Online and Desktop) and strong knowledge of US taxes who can also think like a business manager. This means spotting savings, improving efficiency, and working directly with CPAs to ensure our books are clean, accurate, and tax ready.
This is not a standard bookkeeping role. I need someone who is money savvy, proactive, and passionate about helping build a business from the ground up. The right person will start by helping me get my own and one client’s entities fully organized, then grow with us as we onboard more clients.
Initial Responsibilities:
• Review, clean up, and reconcile all books for 2024 and 2025 to date across multiple entities
• Set up an ongoing weekly bookkeeping and reconciliation process
• Prepare financials in a CPA ready format for smooth tax filing
• Communicate directly with CPAs when needed
• Research and advise on ways to save money across my businesses and client businesses
• Shop around for the best pricing on purchases such as equipment, repairs, and software, and verify quotes are fair
• Implement and manage organizational tools beyond QuickBooks such as project management software like Monday, Asana, or other tools you are skilled in
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and research
What I Am Looking For:
• Proven QuickBooks Online and Desktop expertise
• Strong understanding of US tax requirements and CPA collaboration
• Experience working with entrepreneurs or multiple entity businesses
• Resourceful and detail oriented with a passion for saving money and improving systems
• Skilled with modern tools and AI for organization, reporting, and research
• Entrepreneurial mindset with pride in building something from scratch
• Excellent communication skills, responsive, and reliable
About the Position:
• Fully remote and flexible hours with an initial part time commitment (weekly and as needed)
• First priority is to bring all books current and implement strong systems
• After the cleanup phase, ongoing weekly bookkeeping and cost saving research
• Initial focus is on my own entities and one celebrity client’s entities
• Long term potential to manage finances for multiple high profile clients under RZAK
• Special reduced hourly rate for the first 3 months as we are in the startup phase, with rate increase as the firm grows and revenue comes in
