Job Description
The Senior Desktop Support Technician's role is to provide a first point of contact for internal and external clients needing support and maintenance within the organization's workstation environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC/laptop hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The Senior Technician will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. Ultimately, the Senior Desktop Support Technician is responsible for ensuring that an effective solution is provided to the user.
Essential Duties:
• Manage Help Desk support issues through ServiceNow
• Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
• Image and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process
• Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
• Escalate complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support teams for resolution
• Verify that solutions effectively resolve the users' problems through verbal or email follow up
• Work on Help Desk related projects as assigned
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
As required by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), USAA Real Estate is including a good faith estimate of the starting annual base salary range for this role, which is $87,000 - $111,000. The disclosed base salary range estimate is adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the role will be filled. The base salary range is just one component of the position’s compensation package. Employees may also be eligible to participate in USAA Real Estate’s discretionary Annual Bonus program and other employee benefit programs, subject to the specific terms and eligibility requirements of such programs.

Requirements
• 4+ years experience in providing desk-side/phone/remote technical support within a corporate environment
• 4+ years of customer service experience
• Experience utilizing a help desk ticketing system
• Experience with Office 365
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Willing to work an on-call rotation
• Must be willing to work on-site and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or request and receive an authorized exemption)
• Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title
