Senior Accountant
LHH is partnering with a tech firm that is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant to assist with an increased workload. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. You will work with a team so there will be some training provided but since the team is mostly remote, they need someone who is comfortable working independently. This position offers a quick interview process and free parking when you are in the office in Seattle, WA.
Main Tasks:
• Processing intercompany reconciliations and reviewing transactions
• Manage the fixed assets in accordance with GAAP
• Posting journal entries and handling month end close
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Research and analyzing variances
• Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and knowledge of lease accounting standards
• Able to work quickly and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and able to collaborate with a team
Employment Details:
• Temporary for at least six months
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Remote after training in Seattle, WA office
Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
