- Negotiate freight rates with carriers
- Review shipping and contract documents for accuracy
- Ensure accurate freight billing and address any discrepancies
- Coordinate with trucking companies to assign loads
- Monitor product movement to ensure on-time delivery
- Address any service failures and implement corrective measures
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain service levels
- Run reports as requested
- Respond to a high volume of communications on a daily basis
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1+ years of sales experience (preferred)
- 1+ years of load board freight negotiation experience (required)
