Position Summary

The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to business issues. Responsible for leading multiple complex and high-priority projects. Works closely with the IT architecture, operations, and project management teams to scope, estimate, and provide overall technical guidance for assigned solutions/opportunities. Analyzes existing systems and process and provides input on ways to improve processes and system infrastructure. Provides detailed documentation for implemented solutions and necessary knowledge base articles to allow for operational and ongoing support. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to understand and break down complex problems. This position reports to the VP, Infrastructure and is a key role within Stretto's IT organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Drafting and reviewing architectural designs to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Writing and reviewing code for cloud infrastructure and automation scripts.
• Participating in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and processes.
• Conducting training sessions for team members on cloud technologies and best practices.
• Create scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation.
• Implement cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Migrate AWS accounts into new AWS accounts
• Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migrations.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Monitor cloud performance and optimize for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system health.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
• AWS Expertise: 8+ years of In-depth knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc working in similar roles.
• Cloud Architecture: Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Security: Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Scripting: Skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The annual salary for this role is currently $165,000.00-$185,000.00. The Company's salary ranges are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members. The salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, at the Company's discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
