Job Description
Amazon is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and useable information in our systems. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management systems.
Requirements
 High school diploma or equivalent
 Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
 Fast typing skills with exceptional accuracy
 Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
 Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
 Good communication skills, both written and verbal
 Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work
Responsibilities
 Enter data into our database software and ensure the accuracy of the information
 Update existing data and remove any outdated information
 Prepare and sort documents for data entry
 Verify data by comparing it to source documents
 Generate and distribute reports as needed
 Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
 Respond to and resolve data-related inquiries
 Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and accurate data management
