The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our proprietary CRM software using ArcGIS imports, creating linelists, and creating preliminary land exhibits.<br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop, analyze, and maintain geographic data using ArcGIS software.</li><li>Import shapefiles to our proprietary CRM.</li><li>Create maps, reports, and visual representations of spatial data for decision-making.</li><li>Perform spatial analysis and modeling to support projects in [industry, e.g., urban planning, environmental management, transportation].</li><li>Manage and update GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.</li><li>Integrate GIS with other technologies such as remote sensing, GPS, and web mapping applications.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support GIS-related needs.</li><li>Stay updated on emerging GIS technologies and industry best practices.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.</li><li>Land &amp; Real Estate experience is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.</li><li>Experience with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and database management.</li><li>Knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with remote sensing, GPS data collection, and web mapping tools.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Why Join Us?<br><br></strong>At Volta Group, you’ll be part of a passionate team committed to making a positive impact in the renewable energy sector.<br><br>Right of Way, Oil &amp; Gas, Renewable Energy, BESS, Transmission, Pipeline<br><br>This is a remote position.
