About the position
Texas Oncology is seeking a part-time, fully remote Certified Dosimetrist to support clinics in the Gulf Coast region. This role involves collaborating with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to develop and evaluate radiation therapy treatment plans, utilizing advanced technology and imaging modalities. The position is integral to providing high-quality cancer care, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Develop, generate, and evaluate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and manual calculations.

Utilize various patient imaging modalities to assist in identifying target structures and critical structures to be avoided.

Consult and communicate with therapists regarding the implementation of treatment plans, including the use of immobilization devices and field arrangements.

Perform or supervise the design and fabrication of immobilization devices and treatment planning aids.

Adapt to changing technology and learn new systems and techniques as required.
Requirements
Credentials as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).

At least two years of experience with Eclipse TPS preferred.

Two years of experience with ARIA preferred.
,
Strong oral and written communication skills.
,
Proficient in planning VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D plans.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with ClearCheck and Radcalc desirable.
