Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse Team Member
- In the position of a Fulfillment Center Warehouse Team Member at Amazon, you play a central role in ensuring customer orders are effectively managed and delivered to precision, adhering to Amazon's firm customer service standards. In this role, you're tasked with organizing, packaging, and dispatching orders, with some being part of our ultra-fast delivery service which delivers within two hours.
Job Duties & Assignments:
Your duties as an operator can include:
- Inventory management and organization
- Preparation and packaging of customer orders
- Routing boxes to trucks for distribution
- Scanning product barcodes using specific scanners
- Adhering to digital instructions for particular jobs
- Spotting and resolving issues
- Verifying item quality against standards
- Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or pallet drivers, sometimes at elevations up to 35 feet. Mandated training and certification for machine operation are given free of charge.
