Tech Lead, Endpoints
Description:
- Lead world-class product development for endpoint management across multiple platforms.
- Provide leadership and support to the endpoint management team.
- Mentor junior engineers to increase delivery and meet departmental objectives.
- Automate processes to enhance security and create efficiencies.
Requirements:
- SME knowledge of MS InTune, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and system administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms and integrating endpoint management with cloud services.
- Knowledge and implementation experience of Zero Trust security principles to enhance endpoint security.
- Proficiency in using automation tools and frameworks to streamline endpoint management processes.
- Expertise in managing and securing endpoints in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Ability to analyze endpoint data to drive insights and improve management strategies.
- Emphasis on improving the end-user experience through efficient and user-friendly endpoint management solutions.
- Proficiency package management like Chocolatey, Homebrew, or Winget for automating software installation and management.
- Experience patch management tools like Windows Autopatch, WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), or third-party patch management solutions to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Expertise in using configuration management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM), Puppet, Chef, or Ansible for consistent and automated configuration of endpoints.
- Skills in deploying applications using Microsoft Intune, Jamf for macOS, or other MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.
- Advanced scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks and streamline endpoint management processes.
- Experience with remote management tools and techniques to support and troubleshoot endpoints in distributed environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements, including implementing endpoint protection solutions like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Proficiency in using monitoring tools and generating reports to track endpoint health and performance.
- Understanding of the complete endpoint lifecycle, from provisioning and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning, ensuring efficient and secure management throughout.
- Experience leading and driving strategic initiatives in an enterprise to industry best practice.
