About the position


The Pharmacist in Centralized Services at Walgreens is responsible for implementing healthcare strategies to drive patient health outcomes while working primarily from home. This role involves executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services, and managing prescription processing. The pharmacist will also foster relationships with medical communities and serve as a subject matter expert, all while maintaining current knowledge of the pharmacy industry and required licensure.


Responsibilities




  • Implement direct patient care programs, including Medication Therapy Management and Immunization Services.

Requirements




  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and at least one (1) year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • ,

  • Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
  • ,

  • Experience motivating team members to research and resolve issues.
  • ,

  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • ,

  • Willingness to work non-standard hours, including evenings, holidays, and/or weekends.

  • Strong time management skills, including prioritizing and organizing multiple projects.
