Equal Pay Consultant (HR Consultant 1)Take the next step in your career by joining the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) as an Equal Pay Consultant (HR Consultant 1), where you'll serve in a pivotal role guiding the Statewide Equal Pay Program for Oregon state government. Your expertise will help lead DAS CHRO’s enterprise-wide Equal Pay Assessment project every three years. In this role you will lead and act as subject matter expert for reviewing Unscheduled Equal Pay Assessments for State of Oregon employees. Consult with Oregon State Agencies on Equal Pay Methodology and formulate resources, tools and trainings to address Oregon’s Statutory responsibilities in the administration of Equal Pay. At the direction of the Enterprise Recruitment, Classification and Compensation Administrator, you will research, review, and implement project plans in support of strategic initiatives in statewide Compensation programs. Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or Public Administration, Behavioral Sciences or Organizational Development/Behavior; AND four years professional level human resource experience in compensation. OR;Seven years professional level human resource experience in compensation.Equivalency Notes:The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six months of human resource professional-level experience.Valid Certification as a SHRM Certified Professional awarded by a nationally recognized organization, substitutes for one year of human resource professional-level experience.A master's degree in any of the above listed courses of study may substitute for one year of professional-level experience.Valid certification as a PSHRA-SCP from the Public Sector HR Association substitutes for one year of professional-level experience.Desired Attributes:Demonstrated experience in compensation, analytics, or complex financial rules for a large-scale organization.Experience managing enterprise projects, from project development through implementation utilizing project and change management methodology.Experience consulting agency leadership towards strategic outcomes.Demonstrated ability utilizing an equity lens or framework across an organization to make informed decisions.Proven ability and skill to clearly explain complex/technical concepts in terms that are understandable for technical and non-technical audiences.Proven experience utilizing data informed systems and workflows to identify service delivery gaps.Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.Application Details and InstructionsVisit the to submit your application.
