The Community-Based Youth and Family Therapist is a vital member of our outpatient services team, providing assessment, treatment planning, and therapy to children and families. This role supports Annie Malone's mission to enhance the quality of life for children, families, older adults, and communities through social services, educational programs, and advocacy.Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver clinical counseling services to clients, focusing on trauma-affected individuals through individual, family, psychoeducation, and/or group therapy.Use virtual platforms, such as DOXY.me, to provide remote therapy sessions and engage effectively with clients.Complete assessments, safety plans, discharge summaries, aftercare plans, and other reports as required.Formulate and implement treatment plans aligned with client needs.Use outcome measurement tools to track progress.Provide wraparound services, including parenting education, behavioral planning, and crisis management.Input data into the case management system accurately and in a timely manner.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive client care.Facilitate parenting education classes and programming as needed.Attend team and staffing meetings to support collaborative care.Complete all required training and professional development hours.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements:Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.Clinical licensure (LMSW, LPC, LCSW, PLPC, LMFT, or equivalent) within the State of Missouri or eligibility to obtain it within three months of hire.Experience using virtual platforms, such as DOXY.me, for therapy and client interaction.Two or more years of counseling experience working with children preferred.Eligibility to provide Medicaid services is a plus.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Application Information
