- Conduct, summarize, and document research and analysis of child welfare and behavioral health issues at both state and national levels
- Support the consulting team in developing solutions and strategies for clients
- Participate in internal meetings and contribute to discussions on project development
- Prepare reports and presentations under the guidance of experienced consultants
- Engage in special projects as assigned, providing valuable insights and recommendations
- Keep abreast of trends and federal level changes affecting child welfare and behavioral health
- Ensure quality control processes and procedures are followed
- Strong organization and time management skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to strategically and creatively process information and communicate with all levels within the organization
- Ability to work within a team environment and independently manage own work
- Superior problem-solving capabilities and superior learning agility
- Attention to detail
- Ability to apply skills learned on one project to subsequent analyses
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Social Work, Public Policy, Public Health, Public Administration or a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Public Health, Public Administration or a related field
- Background in child welfare and/or behavioral health
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $21 - $36 per hour.
- New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $23 - $40 per hour.
- All other locations the salary range is $19 - $33 per hour.
