Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours.Position OverviewThe Temp Support Specialist Benefits is a detail-oriented, adaptable professional that supports the Benefits team during peak season. This is a temporary position running from July through February, with a flexible schedule based on mutual availability. The role requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 30 hours per week as the workload increases. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations by managing multiple tasks, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating effectively with both clients and internal partners.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed. - Identify eligible FSA claims; ensure receipts are accurate and contain IRS-required information
- Verify employee identity and verification, matching submitted documents against database records
- Send outreach emails and/or make phone calls to clients, requesting missing required benefits information related to open enrollment
- Conduct audits to ensure open enrollment documents submitted are complete
- Upon completion of open enrollment, review employee contributions in two different systems to ensure they match
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in progress preferred
- Experience with data entry and client interaction preferred
- Strong technical aptitude; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Clear, concise communication-both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and commitment to process adherence
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work well in a team setting
Expected salary: $20 - 21 per hour
