Position SummaryThe Department of Community and Global Health at the Indiana University (IU) Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health (FSPH) in Indianapolis, Indiana invites applications for a full time, open rank, non-tenure track, faculty position. This position requires on-site presence in Indianapolis, full remote work is not possible consistent with school and campus expectations.The position includes teaching and as applicable, research and/or public health practice. This full-time position (12-month appointment) will teach and mentor students in the department's portfolio of programs especially the MS in Global Health and Sustainable Development as well as the DrPH in Global Health Leadership.Other responsibilities may include practice-based research in community and/or global settings, and service to the university and public health community. The ideal candidate will bridge academic theory with real-world public health practice to prepare the next generation of public health professionals.While a wide range of relevant community and global health backgrounds are of interest, candidates with a proven track record within one or more of the 17 sustainable development goals are sought. Candidates should have excellence in teaching in both in-person and asynchronous online formats and be qualified to advise executive doctoral students in applied doctoral projects.Ideally, the candidate will also serve as director of the MS program and help leverage school and departmental assets to assure the continued success of this 100% online degree. This will include course coordination across multiple sections and instructors and collaboration with the Department Chair and others within the school to ensure overall administration and strategic direction of the MS program in Global Health and Sustainable Development.
