Your work will empower data scientists, business leaders, and stakeholders to make smarter decisions and set strategic priorities. - Ensure data quality and integrity through appropriate testing, validation, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Recommend, communicate, and implement appropriate solutions to address data quality issues.
- Discover and explore new technologies, tools, and data sources with curiosity and creativity.
- Identify appropriate technologies to automate data ingestion and perform data transformation to link external sources to internal data.
- Manage both explicit and indistinct requirements throughout the data asset development lifecycle.
- Experience: 3+ years hands-on in analytics-focused data engineering with a proven track record of solving business and technical challenges. Extensive experience capturing requirements, designing, documenting, developing, and validating data pipelines to support analytics, research, or actuarial functions.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience building data structures and performing feature engineering using cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Python, R, Azure Data Factory.
- Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Collaboration: Effective team player with excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with P&C insurance claims data (structured and unstructured) is a plus.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent. Relevant certifications are a bonus.
- Management: Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Added Advantage: Project management experience or similar skills are a plus.
Expected salary: $110058 - 130000 per year
