- You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing and Contracting Branch.
- You will serve as a Contracting Officer with limited signature authority.
- You will prepare statistical and administrative information in support of requested Data calls from both internal and external organizations.
- You will be responsible for exercising supervisory duties on a recurring basis to include planning work, assigning work, evaluating work performance.
- You will oversee administration of contracts awarded by Branch
- You will prepare and issues reports in support of contractual actions.
- You will serve as the appointed Small Business Professional planning, organizing, implementing, and establishing goals for the Small Business Utilization Program.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
