  • Collaborate with channel partners and act on referrals from the Customer Care Center regarding participants with consolidation and planning needs.

  • Gather information through best interest interviews to understanding the participant’s situation and determine the best consolidation approach.

  • Proactively reach out to new participants to Transamerica Employer plans. Educate on consolidation options and provide specialized assistance with plan enrollment.

  • Hold retirement planning phone consultations with clients as requested.

  • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Client Executives to facilitate the movement of terminated plan assets to Transamerica.

  • Work with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience

  • Experience as a retirement plan specialist or asset consolidation specialist, or two years of relevant financial services experience

  • FINRA Series 6 or 7

  • FINRA Series 63 (or obtain within six months of hire)

  • FINRA Series 65 or 66 (or obtain within six months of hire)

  • Customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills to communicate with customers and earn trust

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to select and recommend product solutions

  • Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) such as Salesforce.com, and digital financial advice platforms

  • Proficiency using MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • CRPC or CFP

  • Life license

  • Schedule may vary to fulfill service levels during hours of operation

CompensationThe salary for this position generally ranges between $43,500 - $47,000 annually/per hour. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.This position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives.
