That’s why we need you, an experienced cloud test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software in the cloud environment and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.As a cloud test engineer on our team, you’ll work with developers to evaluate software developed for the National Space client. You’ll work on building a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the application. This is an opportunity to leverage your skills by writing the code to test the code. You’ll also further your experience in developing and documenting the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards and explore new areas like virtual machines.Work with us as we shape systems for the better.Join us. - 5+ years of experience performing software testing or developing software applications
- Experience with designing and executing test scripts, test plans, and test procedures and documenting the expected and actual results
- Experience in coordinating and executing acceptance testing
- Experience in Linux or UNIX environments
- Experience with testing Cloud-based architectures, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Cucumber
- Experience with Load or Performance testing
- Experience with an Agile release methodology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
