We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Subcontract Administrator Sr. to support the procurement and subcontract administration activities for the Controls, Automation, & Autonomy Programs. The successful candidate will work closely with a Subcontract Manager to manage high-visibility domestic and international subcontracts and new business pursuits.THE WORK


  • Support the Subcontract Manager in managing complex and high-visibility domestic and international subcontracts

  • Assist in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions

  • Prepare and review subcontract packages, including bid packages, proposals, and award documents

  • Conduct subcontract administration activities, including subcontract negotiation, award, and closeout

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and finance, to ensure successful subcontract execution

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with subcontract terms and conditions

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontract execution, including contract disputes and performance issues

  • Support new business pursuits by assisting in the development of proposal responses and subcontract strategies

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college

  • Experience placing and managing purchase orders

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) compliance

  • Project Management experience

Desired skills


  • Working knowledge of the procurement process on DOD contracts

  • Lockheed Martin Supply Chain Experience

  • Well organized and able to prioritize competing requirements

  • Working knowledge of Rotary business and supply base

  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (leadership, peers, suppliers, and customer)

  • Strong negotiations skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate with supplier

  • Strong technical background relative to suppliers
