Your primary focus will be to forecast staffing needs, ensure real-time resource allocation, and support the scheduling process to meet both volume and initiative-based requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify staffing gaps and recommend improvements for better service levels. This role requires you to be data-driven and detail-oriented while collaborating with leadership to ensure operational efficiency.Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with Marketplace Operations and BPO teams to forecast staffing needs, covering short-term to long-term timeframes.
- Lead efforts to implement and optimize the Playvox Workforce Management tool to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Adjust staffing and scheduling during shifts to manage volume surges and unexpected distribution changes.
- Conduct proactive analysis to identify coverage gaps and recommend adjustments to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide insights to ensure effective scheduling and adherence to service level agreements (SLA).
- Work with leadership to prepare for anticipated volume spikes, such as during sales or major events, and make necessary staffing adjustments.
- 2+ years of experience in supporting scheduling efforts for large, hourly coverage-based teams (50+ agents or more) across multiple timezones.
- Experience with Workforce Management software, such as Playvox, Verint, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of workforce management metrics (e.g., service levels, adherence, handle times, and occupancy).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly diagnose and recommend solutions to staffing issues.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders of varying seniority.
- Flexible working hours, with a shift starting no later than 8 am PT, Monday through Friday.
