Position Overview:We’re looking for a Customer Service/Sales Representative to help us handle an overflow of calls, respond to emails, and conduct virtual sales consultations via Zoom (yes, pajama bottoms are acceptable—just keep it professional up top). You’ll be reviewing images of customer properties, gathering details, crunching numbers in Excel, and presenting project bids to prospects.If you love chatting with people, are detail-oriented, and enjoy helping homeowners say “WOW” to their properties, we want you! Bonus: This seasonal role comes with flexible hours and the opportunity to return each season.Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the voice of our brand – Answer 20-30 calls/emails per day.
  • Host virtual consultations – Present 2-4, 30-45 minute Zoom consultations per day with prospective clients to discuss services and assess their needs
  • Master Excel magic – Analyze pricing formulas and carefully price out each project.
  • Follow up like a pro – Keep in touch with leads through phone, email, and other platforms.
  • Upsell & renew – Help customers discover additional services they’ll love.
  • Close deals – Onboard new clients and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Stay organized – Track progress and maintain accurate records in our CRM.
The responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may evolve as the role develops. The individual in this position will also be expected to take on additional ad hoc tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned by the manager, adapting to the dynamic needs of the team and organization.What We’re Looking For
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills (clear, fluent, and easily understood by customers).
  • Professional demeanor and appearance suitable for video consultations.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and provide outstanding customer care.
  • You'll need to feel comfortable guiding people towards purchasing and overcoming objections, be comfortable talking to affluent homeowners, and be able to help them trust and enjoy talking to you.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 3+ years of customer service and sales experience is required. Preferably related to the landscaping or B2C service industry.
  • Remote Working: 1 year (Required)
Tech Must-Haves
  • Strong (above basic) proficiency in Microsoft Excel, google sheets, and computer skills.
  • Desktop (preferably multiple monitors)
  • Need to have a designated, quiet, and professional environment with no interruptions.
  • Wired USB noise cancelling headset with an over the mouth microphone
  • Hi-Speed Internet (preferably with an Ethernet connection. No satellite internet service providers)
  • Requires a background check that will be paid for by us.
When You’ll Work
  • Totally Flexible! We believe in work-life balance. Flexible working hours between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST. Flexible days, including mainly weekdays and sometimes on weekends if desired (to be mutually agreed upon).
We do ask you plan your schedule in advance so that we can schedule our other team members accordingly.
  • June 1 – September 1: 20-30 hours/week
  • September 1 – December 1: 10-20 hours/week (holiday lighting season)
Note that some weeks will have minimal hours and some weeks will have maximum. Our prime rush season is June 1st through July 15th, and November 1st through December 1st.
  • December 1 – April 1: No scheduled hours (time to hibernate)
  • April 1 – June 1 (2026) : 10-15 hours per week
