- Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment.
- Completing work orders with proper coding, including reason for repair, detailed description of condition, cause, and correction.
- Properly completing the warranty process.
- Ensuring safety, accuracy, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and Repair: Safely and correctly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment. Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuild fleet equipment components.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Inform management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions, and unsafe work practices, and suggest corrective actions.
- Tool and Supply Management: Identify and inform management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment, and take steps to solve the issue if possible.
- Work Order Completion: Correctly complete complex work orders with proper coding (e.g., Reason for Repair (RFR), American Trucking Association (ATA)), description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing warranty return tags as needed.
- Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Policy Compliance: Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.
