With an ambitious roadmap ahead, we're in search of a dynamic individual to help navigate the complexities of our objectives so our team can deliver unparalleled services to our global community.The Difference You Will Make:We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development professional who has a proven track record of sourcing and building strategic partnerships that have driven revenue growth and maximized enterprise value.This role involves driving market assessments, developing relationships, and conducting commercial negotiations for new capabilities required by AirCover. Additionally, this role will engage with prospective partners, qualify opportunities, and lead the negotiation of complex deals. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across Airbnb, including leadership within Finance, Product, Legal, and Engineering teamsWho You Are:
- Highly attentive to detail and obsessed with finding and sharing new ways to optimize the work our team does
- Able to translate strategic objectives to actionable sets of items or tasks and define their success criteria
- Experienced with providing strategic advice to leadership regarding players in a given market, their inherent strengths and weaknesses, and what choice makes the most sense for Airbnb
- Demonstrated ability to make the right connections between strategy, operations, and finance to move the business forward
- Comfortable working in a high ambiguity environment with a large amount of cross functional stakeholders
- History of launching revenue generating partnerships, and continuously iterating on them to scale the business
- Adept at knowing when a business relationship has reached its logical conclusion
- Significant experience working with insurance providers as a producer
- Demonstrated experience in business development, with a strong track record of developing strategic partnerships that have contributed to revenue growth and increased enterprise value
- Excellent negotiation and relationship development skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct market assessments
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Cultivate and grow external relationships with entities that might present partnership opportunities for AirCover
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Significant experience working with insurance providers as a producer
- Management consulting or other strategy experience
