- Act as the executive-level point of contact for the NV5 team, the Owner, Architect and other design team members
- Lead project design teams, bringing a forward-thinking perspective to technology plans and strategic discussions
- Drive business development within a specific geographic area or vertical market sector
- Write proposals and negotiate final scope and fee agreements with clients
- Write strategic technology plans, programs and other project communication
- Lead programmatic discussions with our clients to determine project goals and requirements
- Collaborate with other NV5 team members to guide clients through the technology selection process; devise cost-effective audio/video solutions specifically optimized for the user
- Play the role of Principal in Charge of multi-disciplinary projects that may include AV, IT, Security, Lighting and Acoustics
- Oversee the creation of technology drawings with Architects, Engineers and other design team members
- Oversee various teams in the completion of drawings, specifications, coordination meetings, project submittals and punch-list visits
- Ensure that all work is completed on-time, in-budget, and consistently within NV5’s high standards of quality
- Minimum of ten years of experience in the Audiovisual field; three years of experience with independent technology consulting is preferred
- Extensive knowledge in the design, deployment and use of audiovisual systems, including: projection and display; sound and speech reinforcement; audio and video conferencing; signal processing, signal distribution and routing; control systems
- General knowledge of audiovisual architectural requirements including but not limited to: sightline studies; structural support requirements; cabling pathways; architectural integration of audiovisual equipment
- General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure and system architecture
- Experience in business development for professional services
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

- Professional and positive attitude in a fast paced and occasionally high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BlueBeam
- CTS certification required
- PLUSES: CTS-D, CTS-I, RCDD or additional industry related certifications
