About the position

As an Operations Manager at PNC, you will oversee the execution of operating plans and manage one or more functions across various sites. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving strategic improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for achieving business results, managing human resources activities, and providing consultation to service partners and customers. The position requires effective communication and the ability to translate strategy into tactical plans, while also managing risk and ensuring business resiliency.

Responsibilities
• Execute operating plan and communicate strategy to operations team.
,
• Manage supervisors and/or individual contributors across one or more functions.
,
• Achieve desired business results and act as a senior point of escalation for exceptions.
,
• Process and reconcile transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
,
• Manage human resources activities for direct and indirect reports, maintaining employee engagement.
,
• Provide coaching and development to team members and lead staff meetings.
,
• Consult and advise service partners and customers, identifying strategic improvement initiatives.
,
• Develop and approve standard operating procedures and recommend policy improvements.
,
• Oversee control framework for unit(s) of responsibility, ensuring compliance and quality monitoring.
,
• Manage risk mitigation and business resiliency activities.

Requirements
• 5+ years of related experience in operations management or a similar field.

• At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of customer solutions and compliance requirements.

• Ability to manage risks associated with business objectives and activities.
