Position Title:

IT Support Technician

Job Summary:

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and other IT-related issues within an organization. They respond to inquiries, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions to users either remotely.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement and setup of computer equipment for new hires, including system configuration and software initialization.

2. Provide daily equipment maintenance and management for our remote employees (currently 4, expected to grow to 10 by end of 2024), ensuring system stability.

3. Assist with other fundamental IT tasks as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum of 1 year of IT operations experience.

2. Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS, with a deep understanding of their regular use and configurations.

3. Extensive experience with various systems and software, including but not limited to email, backup, antivirus, and conferencing systems.

4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to promptly address issues that arise during equipment use.

5. Fluent speaking and listening in Chinese Mandarin.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
