Job Overview

Are you a seasoned Azure Cloud Engineer with expertise in security and data protection? We are seeking an exceptional professional to spearhead a major ransomware protection initiative. This long-term contract position is fully remote, requiring alignment with Eastern Time Zone working hours.

Key Responsibilities
?? Direct the design and execution of security and data protection protocols within Azure.
?? Architect and implement a comprehensive roadmap for ransomware protection.
?? Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment with corporate objectives.
?? Leverage Azure tools and best practices to optimize cloud security and storage solutions.
?? Engage with technologies such as Azure Policy, Storage Accounts, Git, JIRA, Terraform (Azure RM/Terraform Provider), Azure Key Vault, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database.

Required Skills
?? Over 5 years of experience with Azure cloud technologies.
?? At least 2 years of expertise in IT security, particularly in the realms of data protection and ransomware response.
?? Proven experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure management.
?? Proficient in Azure security tools, policies, and industry best practices.
?? Strong analytical skills and the capability to work autonomously.
?? Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
?? Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications
?? A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Azure cloud technologies and IT security.

Compensation & Benefits
