Responsibilities
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
• Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and develop strategies for minimizing their tax liabilities.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and provide insights for financial planning purposes.
• Maintain organized records of client information, tax documents, and correspondence.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may impact clients' financial situations.
• Provide support during audits by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.

Skills
• Proficiency in financial software applications related to accounting and tax preparation.
• Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in tax accounting, including familiarity with various types of taxes (income, sales, payroll).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform financial analysis and planning.

Pay: From $500.00 per day

Expected hours: 35 – 60 per week
