Position Overview: As a Remote School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, providing counseling and intervention services, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic well-being of students. You will play a vital role in identifying learning and behavioral challenges, designing effective intervention plans, and promoting a positive and inclusive school environment. Responsibilities: Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists. Provide remote counseling and therapeutic interventions to students dealing with a variety of challenges. Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address academic and behavioral concerns. Participate in virtual team meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress and strategies.
Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. State licensure or certification in Illinoisas a School Psychologist. Experience as a school psychologist in a school setting is preferred. Proficient in using virtual communication and assessment tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
