About the Role: Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across Oklahoma? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Special Education Teacher to join our virtual team. Youll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, youll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.
Key Responsibilities: Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that IEP goals are met. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff. Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students' specific needs. Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students. Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education. Active Oklahoma Special Education teaching certification (required). Experience developing and implementing IEPs. Prior experience working in a virtual setting is a plus. Strong knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA and 504 plans. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay (1099 contractor position).
